She worked in four television stations around the United States (NBC affiliates in Chicago, IL; Columbia, MO; Grand Rapids, MI and the ABC affiliate in Jackson, MS), where she fearlessly told stories with extremely high stakes. CNN, MSNBC and multiple Hearst stations re-aired her stories.
Towards the end of her journalism career, Crystal could see the media landscape changing so she pursued a Masters Degree in Communications from Grand Valley State University. While attending graduate school, she transitioned into producing her own events and content.
Her journalism background now serves as a solid foundation for her creative storytelling for brands.
She travels the world, DJing and hosting events and producing content on social channels — connecting companies with their target audiences.
